Yesterday I was honored to deliver the commencement address at The Fessenden School, a boys’ junior boarding school in West Newton, Massachusetts. The invitation was especially meaningful as I am an alumnus of the school, having graduated in the Class of 1968, 45 years ago this week. Although the two years I spent there amounted to the biggest challenge I faced in my coming of age, the value of the experience only improves with age. I tried to convey this during my speech.
